Hot Off the Press - Brand New Lanark County Experience Map!
May 13 10 - The design and redevelopment of the 2010 Lanark County Experience Map is now complete. The cover of the new map was designed by Cindy Morris of MORRgraphics to complement the Carleton Place & District and Perth & District Chambers of Commerce 2010 Visitor Guides and existing Lanark County branding.

Apr 14 10 - Merrickville, Ontario Mrs. McGarrigle's Fine Mustard & Fine Food is thrilled to be the recipient of a Gold Medal for Mrs. McGarrigle's Cranberry Port Mustard, at the 2010 World-Wide Mustard Competition in Napa Valley, California.

Lanark County Skier Prepares for the Winter Olympics
Jan 08 10 - Friends and supporters gathered at Baker Bob's in Almonte last Wednesday evening to meet one of Lanark County's two Olympic Winter Games competitors, Olympic Team sprint skier, Perianne Jones. The meet and greet session was well attended and the opportunity was taken by several in the group to present Perianne with donations of support in her effort. Representatives of the Tay Valley Cross Country Ski Club contributed $500.00 on behalf of club members to help defray training expenses.

Lanark County Maple Producer Wins at Royal Winter Fair
Jan 07 10 - The County of Lanark continues to add jewels to its Maple Syrup Capital of Ontario crown thanks to a recent win by a local producer at the Royal Winter Fair.
