The Rideau and Mississippi watersheds are to home to game fish such as lake trout, brook trout, walleye, pike, bass, rainbow trout, splake and big Canadian pan fish.

A licence to fish in Ontario consists of an Outdoors Card plus a fishing licence tag for all Canadian residents.  Non-resident licences are also available for our visitors from farther afield.  Licences can be purchased from many sporting goods stores in our area.  You can also get more information on the Outdoors Card by calling the Outdoors Card Centre at 1-800-387-7011 or by visiting http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/en/Business/LetsFish/2ColumnSubPage/STEL02_164832.html.  The toll-free number works from all regions of Canada, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Eastern Time).
