Group Travel

Welcome to Lanark County, Maple Syrup Capital of Ontario. Our concentration of maple trees create the most dramatic fall colours in the world.

Lanark County offers an authentic rural experience only minutes away from the Nation’s Capital. Many of our attractions offer free admission. Driver and escort are often provided complimentary services. Motor coach parking and accessibility is available at major attractions.

Our town crier in heritage costume can welcome your group upon request. Local historians will take you on a journey through the prettiest and oldest settlements in Canada, speckled along the Mississippi or historic Rideau Canal. Lanark County is a world heritage destination.

With advance notice, groups are welcome at museums and guided tours can often be arranged upon request.  Parks, trails and conservation areas are excellent places for groups to visit at a whim. Restaurants that cater to groups include Michael’s Table and The Stone Cellar in Perth, Wheelers in Lanark Highlands,  CC’s on the Rideau in Rideau Ferry and Fulton’s Pancake House in Mississippi Mills.
